Comparative Analysis of Centrifugal Fans and Axial Flow Fans

When selecting the two types of fans, a balance should be made based on the working conditions and requirements: I. Performance Differences Centrifugal fan: High pressure (1000-3000Pa), medium and low flow rate, suitable for long-distance gas transmission, such as air conditioning systems and industrial furnace ventilation. Axial flow fan: Low pressure (<500Pa), high flow rate, suitable for short-distance ventilation, such as in warehouses and cooling towers. Ii. Noise and Energy Consumption Centrifugal fans have relatively high noise due to their high rotational speed (mufflers need to be installed), but their energy consumption per unit air volume is lower than that of axial flow fans. Iii. Application Scenario Selection When rapid cooling or precipitation is required, centrifugal fans should be selected, such as for ventilation in grain depots. When energy-saving and slow ventilation is required, axial flow fans should be selected.
